In the first Reno wild filly futurity Lance Johnston was 1st on JPH Stang Gang’s Three Fingers Holly, Rebecca Sternadel was 2nd on Cynthia Bias’s Three Fingers Blond, Tyler Johnson-Clark was 3rd on Carmen Johnson’s South Steens Shy Charlotte and Wyatt Fisher was 12th on Jayson and Teresa Fisher’s Three Fingers Teresa. 2018 Horse Show #8 Standings Posted

The year-end awards points standings after horse show #8 have been posted under “Standings“. Points are calculated according to rule 9. CCHA class points: “One point for winning class plus one point for each horse defeated. No points are awarded if the total score is zero, but the show counts toward meeting minimum requirement of competing in one-half of the shows to qualify for year-end awards.” For example: 3 horses shown and all earning non zero scores, first place 3 points, second place 1 point, third place 0 points; 5 horses shown and 3 earning non zero scores, first place

2019-2020 CCHA Board of Directors Election Results Announced

The results of the elections for the 2019-2020 term of the CCHA board of directors are now final. Kristy Johnson has been elected to a third consecutive term. Tim Johnson and Murray Thompson have been elected to a second consecutive term. Former director Cynthia Bias has been elected to an additional term. Although candidate Stacy Duesterhaus narrowly missed being elected to a first term she has generously agreed to serve the association as the key member of the communications committee.

2018 Membership List Updated & Membership Milestone Achieved

The 2018 membership list as of September 1, 2018 has been posted under “Membership List“. We are proud to have surpassed the 200 membership milestone as of our 2018 horse show #8 with 210 memberships. This is an increase of 43 memberships or 26 % over our 2017 membership total of 167. The draws for our 2018 Herd Practice and Horse Show #8 scheduled for this Friday August 31,2018 and Saturday September 1, 2018 at the International Agri-Center, 4500 S Laspina St Tulare, CA have been posted under “Show Draws“.
